I’m a hard car DIY enthusiast at heart. Or at least I play one on YouTube, ha ha. Here’s my YouTube channel.
I have three cars that I’m either maintaining or building at the moment.
The Guards Red cabriolet is the one I share with others. You can rent this car on Driveshare or Turo Classic. I’ve fixed a few items with the DME, dash wiring, catalytic converter, rear sway bar mounts, and replaced various hoses. This one is a blast to cruise around in the California sunshine!
The Bahama Yellow Porsche 911 is a major project that no one else wanted to touch. I bought it as wrecked shell and turned it into a hot rod for very little money. (Less than $12.5k including the price of the shell). This is basically just a shell, steering wheel, and engine, plus some go fast goodies. There are lots of videos on this one, including metal shaping, painting, engine work, brakes, suspension, etc.
This Irish Green Porsche 356 has been with me for over 25 years. It’s currently under restoration and I hope to drive it again this year. This is an all original numbers matching car originally sold in Italy. This is my pride and joy!
You can learn a lot about a car guy by what he/she is currently driving or working on. I love working on cars just as much as driving them, so that is why I’m glad you found my engine test stand products. They are there to help you make this hobby fun.
